OUR PEOPLE

Kevin G. May, CSRP, CPCU
President and CEO

Kevin was born and raised on a farm in north central Illinois.  After graduating from Illinois State University, he began his insurance career with Country Insurance and Financial Services where he spent over 11 years. He began his career in underwriting and moved onto claims for three years. Once a centralized subrogation department was formed, Kevin was one of the first two individuals hired to begin the process of establishing workflows for the subrogation process including arbitration, litigation, inter-carrier, uninsured motorists, property and product liability claims.

Kevin then received an opportunity create a subrogation department through an outsource partner. This opportunity resulted in a subrogation department that started with one person and eventually grew into a department of over 100. Kevin's concentration was once again in establishing workflows, both internal and external, and partnering with his clients to ensure their goals were being met.

Kevin co-founded Acclaim Resource Partners, LLC, in order to partner with his clients in a greater and much more targeted way.  The belief that working in a close partnership, creating opportunities that cannot be met individually, and watching people succeed is what drives him to have an impact each day.

Kevin received his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University. He has earned the Certified Property Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) and Certified Subrogation Recovery Professional (CSRP) designations. Kevin serves as the Membership Director for the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP) and currently serves on the Board of Directors for NASP. In addition, Kevin has served for 10 years as a panelist for Arbitration Forums.

Kevin is married to Angela and has two children.  When not in the office, you can find him in his woodshop building furniture or working outside.
